For home care we recommend purchasing the Anti-Lice Upholstery Spray and use it on anything that cannot be immediately washed, such as car seats or school bags.

We find the following works best for Home Care:

Prior to spraying the mattresses, couches and upholstery, vacuum the surfaces first then spray with the Anti-Lice Upholstery Spray. Once sprayed, lice will die within minutes upon contact. This spray is lightly scented with lush lemongrass to ensure that affected surfaces smell refreshed upon and after application. Most people are unaware that they can contract head lice immediately upon sitting on any of these surfaces.

For Clothes and Linen from the last 4 days:

Wash all clothes used in the last 4 days in hot water and laundry detergent. Use the dryer to dry the clothes as heat also kills lice. Most people are unaware that they can contract head lice immediately upon using the same linen and putting on the same clothes.

For Leather Surfaces:

Spray and wipe all leather surfaces with the Anti-Lice Upholstery Spray to kill any lice or eggs that may be present on these surfaces.

For Brushes and Hair Ties:

Hair brushes and hair ties need to be sterilized in hot water and thoroughly cleaned of any hair remanets. Once clean you can spray with Anti-Lice Upholstery Spray on brushes, however we highly suggest immediate replacement of all brushes and hair ties to eliminate lice from your home environment.

For Linen:

It is highly suggested that you replace the pillow and wash the linen immediately.
